Forgive. Forgive. Forgive.

how to forgiveWhen someone apologizes, it’s not hard to forgive. It’s harder to forgive when someone doesn’t seem sorry at all (and may only seem to see the “faults” of others). We must forgive anyway–even if our forgiveness hasn’t been sought or desired.

The battle is not against each other. Paul says in Ephesians 6:12: “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”

We must bear with each other, and part of that is forgiving just as God has shown us forgiveness. We’re not the judge. We can look at our own actions and reactions.

Keep short accounts with God and with others, despite how others respond.
