    I’m having so much trouble with all of the paranoia and stress. I’ve been going to the Lord and I have been trying to make it better. I’ve been more at peace with myself even with the scary things going on in the world. I know that’s the Lord’s power over me, but I can’t help sometimes all of my feelings overcoming me sometimes. I feel the weight of everything crashing down on me. I can’t help it. Heck, I’m crying as I’m writing this.

    I heard the news about those 7 Christians killed in Egypt, and I literally broke down. My heart broke almost literally for them. I know the year 2013 is coming up, but I can’t help this bad feeling that I’m getting that I can’t shake off. Is that supposed to be a sign? Am I going crazy with this? PLEASE! i NEED HELP!

    • I’m sorry you’re going through this struggle Mallory! I’m praying for you even now.

      There are so many temptations to worry about what’s going on in the world, and there are many crazy things happening. We do carry that burden for our brothers and sisters suffering and sometimes when I’m praying I wonder, does praying help? But I have faith that it does! And also I’m learning why we were given Philippians 4:8 “Finally, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. ”

I Ask the Lord to continue using me,in many ways he seek to,Im Single for 6years, and is not easy when you have to go through all kinds of battle, I have a brother doing 25years in prison, and one dead…I don’t know my father and a mother that has bad depression, from ,the life she put me and my brothers, with drugs and alcohol, I was abuse menthaly and emotionaly,not only with Mom, but through my Life relationship with Men,s..I’m healed but,still don’t know if I’m ready to ever date again. only Our Father God has the answer in his time.   17. Hi Mallory… I know that feeling of having a burden your heart for what’s happening to others 🙁
    We will see and hear of many dark things here, but we are living for something greater, and that is eternal life. What we do here matters, and how we respond. But even when evil threatens to steal our joy, we must not linger there, it’s dangerous and not of God. Personally, I wouldn’t read it as a sign– it’s just evil trying to take your eyes off the cross.

  49. I really don’t know how to start, its the first time for me to be on this site. I am so weak and heart broken. Sometimes we are so troubled that we loose the good and only see the bad. I am married for 17years with three kids. I am a working mom and sole breadwinner at this stage. I have prayed so many times for my husband to find a job. Iam loosing faith along with my assets that I have to sold to make ants meat. I need someone to help me.

  53. We all have our challenges and shortcomings, but i believe that we are serving a Big and a Living God who always love, support and never leave us. My prayer that that we all have faith, trust and believe that God is the only answer to our prayers. I am a single individual in my pacific community. I’m a Seventh-Day Adventist and knowing God is far better than knowing the world. I fail so many things in my teen years, even see myself in broken relationship where my boyfriend cheated on me few years ago. However, that did not stop me from forgiving. Because, i learn from the bible we forgive so that the Lord will do the same thing for us. It’s been 20 years now, since i pray hard for the Lord to bless me not only with wisdom and knowledge but also with people that deserves my love. Now, i am still with the man that breaks my heart till he agrees to leave. Anyways, long story short-life is full of many surprises God will always find a way to help me get through this. I hope and pray that each one of you with serious problems will be saved through the loving arms of the Lord. Prayer has always been my best friend for twenty years. Although, i got higher degrees and things (materialistic) but there is still something missing in my life-is a little heaven “family” of my own. If not, then still i wait upon the Lord for direction no matter how many years will it takes for me to get there.
